Household waste has to be sorted in Estonia. Residents should at least separate the following items from other waste:

You can bring furniture and household appliances free of charge, but will have to pay for specific types of garbage like toilets, sinks, window panes, etc. The environmental station located at Jaama 72c accepts up to eight used car tires free of charge from private individuals. If they wish, people may also take discarded furniture from the centre for their own use.
