On 3 June, the poster session of the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science Student Project Contest took place in the Delta study building, where the best student projects were selected. During the poster session, the authors of 44 projects presented their work, and a jury consisting of representatives from the institute’s chairs determined the winners.

A total of 4 projects competed in the first-year Bachelor’s category, 22 projects were entered in the Bachelor’s category, and 18 projects were submitted in the Master’s category. The prize fund in each category was €2,400: €1,000 for first place, €800 for second place, and €600 for third place, awarded to the entire team. As in previous years, the Audience Award was also presented, with the winner determined by a public vote. In addition, awards were given for Best Demo and the Wolfram Special Prize. The teams receiving special awards were awarded €500 each. A separate €300 recognition prize was awarded to the project that was presented in the best way on the institute’s new project platform.
