Academic collaboration

The Institute of Computer Science welcomes organisations to work with our talented undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students bring a fresh perspective to business operations and problems, and can come up with unexpectedly fresh solutions that will drive the business forward.

Digital Product Management programme Sandbox is looking for partner organisations to challenge our students in creating and managing digital products. In the Industry Project course, we form interdisciplinary teams of Master’s students who tackle the problem statement proposed by your company. During the one-semester course, students research the problem and possible users, generate solution concepts, develop a prototype, and conduct user testing. Students are supported by experienced specialists and researchers from the University of Tartu.

We are looking for companies and institutions to offer practical challenges for student teams to work on. This is a good opportunity for companies to work with the university and the students, to get new ideas and find innovative solutions together.
