The Institute of Computer Science is once again taking part in the software conference Digit. This year, Digit will be slightly different from previous years, as it will take place together with PyCon.
We will again be represented in several ways. Associate Professor of Applied Artificial Intelligence Anastasija Nikiforova will give a talk titled “Who Decides When AI Decides? Rethinking Human–AI Delegation Beyond Automation”. Junior Research Fellow in Machine Learning Heili Aavola will run a workshop on setting up a local AI agent. Heili’s local agent Hermes will also be available to try out in the conference expo area.
In the expo area, visitors can also learn more about the work of our Autonomous Driving Lab and explore Anastassia Käärmann’s student project EstMate, which uses artificial intelligence to help improve spoken Estonian skills.
See you on 9 October at Kammivabrik in Tartu!
