Six e-courses of the Institute of Computer Science were awarded the quality label and two of them were nominated for the e-course of the year award

Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education awards quality labels for e-courses every year. This quality label indicates the excellence of an e-course and is in recognition of the creator and maker of an e-course who has achieved good results using digital technology. The e-course Quality Label confirms to the learner that the course and the level of delivery meet quality standards.

The Institute of Computer Science has produced a total of six e-courses worthy of the quality label.

  • "Let's make computer games", Mark Muhhin, Raimond-Hendrik Tunnel
  • "Evolution of video games", Mark Muhhin, Raimond-Hendrik Tunnel
  • "Programming", Reimo Palm
  • “Data Science for Business”, Elena Sügis, Liis Kolberg, Ardi Tampuu, Mirjam Paales
  • "Introduction to Theoretical Computer Science", Vitaly Skachek, Yauhen Yakimenka, Reimo Palm
  • “Automata, Languages and Compilers”, Vesal Vojdani, Varmo Vene, Aivar Annamaa, Helena Talimaa, Simmo Saan, Karoliine Holter, Oliver Vainumäe

In total, 97 courses in Estonia received the quality label. Among the award winners, 9 courses were nominated for the e-course of the year title, including 2 courses from the Institute of Computer Science - "Let's make our own computer games" and "Programming".
