Alongside the creation of new technologies, Ida-Virumaa's transition to a sustainable economic model requires diversified skills and support for the development of research-intensive businesses.

On the evening of 18 May, museums will open their doors later than usual to celebrate European Museum Night. The University of Tartu's Computer Museum in the Delta Study Building (Narva mnt 18) will also be open to visitors that evening.

On 14 March at 13, all university members and language lovers are welcome to the university assembly hall to celebrate Estonia’s Mother Tongue Day.

The University of Tartu and the Blood Centre of Tartu University Hospital invite university members to the Blood Donor Day in the Delta Centre on 3 April, from 11:00 to 14:30.

The seminar takes place on 19 March and focuses on the secondary use of health data in Estonia

On 23 February at 12, university members are invited to the ceremony and concert dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia in the university’s assembly hall.

The Estonian Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, led by the University of Tartu’s Institute of Computer Science, will address scientific issues of importance to Estonia. The government will support the centre of excellence with 7 million euros over seven years. 

Sandbox will be holding a design thinking workshop as part of sTARTUp Day 2024.

A part of sTARTUp Day 2024, we will host a Data Science Seminar on 24 January on the subject of EdTech.
